Please identify the page, quote or describe the statement you believe needs amendment, and include a reliable supporting source. Official club, competition or governing-body records are particularly helpful; reputable contemporary reporting can help with appointments, departures and disputed public events.
Evidence that helps
A useful report includes the exact page address, the sentence or data field concerned, the proposed correction and a source that readers can inspect. Official competition records, club records, court or inquest findings, contemporary reports and established statistical archives carry more weight than unsourced summaries or social posts.
Confirmed changes are applied to every archive page that depends on the corrected fact. Material corrections, changed sources and revised interpretations are recorded in the editorial change log. If the evidence remains inconclusive, the page may describe the competing records and state the definition used rather than selecting an unsupported answer.

Review process
- The report is checked against the cited source and the archive’s existing references.
- If sources conflict, the page is updated to explain the disagreement rather than presenting an uncertain claim as settled.
- Confirmed factual errors are corrected in the relevant page and, where applicable, in the season or manager records.
- Editorial interpretation is reconsidered when it rests on an incorrect fact, but disagreement alone does not automatically require a rewrite.
